Lynne Stamey was born and raised in ����appia, where she graduated from Ashbrook High School. She earned her Business Administration/Management Degree from ����app College shortly after high school graduation. After working in the business world for a while, she decided that education was where her heart was. She attended and graduated from Belmont Abbey College, where she received her degree in Elementary ����app. She earned her Academically and Intellectually Gifted Certification from Western Carolina University, then went on to earn her Master's Degree in ����app Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.

Prior to administration, Mrs. Stamey spent 6 years at Grier Middle School, where she taught sixth grade math; at Piedmont Community Charter School for 3 years, where she taught second grade, third grade, and sixth grade math; and at Brookside Elementary for 4 years where she was a teacher assistant.

Mrs. Stamey has served as an Assistant Principal at Lingerfeldt Elementary and Robinson Elementary. She lives in ����appia with her husband, Jimmy, and has one son, Alex. She enjoys spending time at the beach, and being with friends and her family.
