Clubs and Activities

  • Robotics - This team is selected through an application, essay, and interview process.  It is open to 4th and 5th-grade students. They compete against other schools at a yearly competition that includes research and programmed robot runs. Club meetings take place after school.
     
    Battle of the Books - Interested fourth and fifth graders read a list of novels and then compete against other schools answering questions about the books.  Learn more on our .  Club meetings take place during the school day.
     
    Math Masters - Math Masters is for 5th grade only.  It is a test given to the students and the top 6 scores make the team and travel to the county competition.  The students will work as a team to solve the following problems: algebra, patterns, using manipulatives, fractions, geometry, and number sense.  Club meetings take place during the school day.
     
    Safety Patrol—Interested students can apply through their 5th-grade teachers. Safety patrol members arrive at 7:20 and help each morning in various locations: putting up the flag, welcoming students, helping in the cafeteria, and monitoring the hallways. 
     
    Art Club - Students expand their artistic abilities and knowledge.  This club is open to 4th and 5th-grade students.  Interested students can apply through their homeroom teachers.  Club meetings take place during the school day.
     
    Ensemble - Students learn to play as an ensemble, learning specific instruments and musical pieces.  Ensemble participants take part in at least one concert per year.  This club is open to 4th and 5th-grade students.  Interested students can apply through their homeroom teachers.  Club meetings take place during the school day.
