Mrs. Emily Thornburg
My name is Emily Thornburg. This is my 19th year teaching. I am a former app County Schools' student. I attended W.A. Bess Elementary, Holbrook Junior High, and graduated from Ashbrook High School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary app from Gardner-Webb University. I have taught fourth and fifth grade at Carr Elementary and Brookside Elementary. I recently added the EC certificate to my teaching license, and happily joined the HNSA staff this year!
I live in appia with my husband David, who is retired from the Charlotte Fire Department and a bagpipe player. We have one daughter named Katie who is thirteen years old. She attends Community Christian Academy. We attend Connections Church in Belmont. I love to read, spend time with my family, and just relax!
